Ohio gaming revenue increase tops Midwest, report says

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ohio’s gaming revenue increase of 13.3 percent in 2015 led all Midwestern states with commercial gaming, according to a new report.

While the revenue growth was due to the first full year all four casinos and seven racinos were open, growth in recent months has not stalled, said the report by national accounting firm RubinBrown.

“Since September 2015, the state has seen monthly gaming revenues continue to increase by an average of 6.1 percent compared to 2014,” the report said.
