Changes in Ambulance Calls Following Implementation of a Smokefree Law and its Extension to Casinos

A health study published August 5, 2013 by researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the scientific journal Circulation, found a 20 percent reduction in ambulance calls to casinos following the implementation of Colorado’s smokefree law.

The journal also ran an editorial about the study, titled Let’s Clear the Air for Casino Patrons and Employees.
